Paywallscreens MCP server

Give your AI assistant the world’s largest library of real App Store paywalls. Search by app, category, or keyword and get each paywall as an image your agent can read, with estimated monthly revenue and downloads for the app.

Server URL: https://www.paywallscreens.com/mcp

It is a hosted Streamable HTTP server. There is nothing to install and no API key: the first time you connect, your client opens a browser window to sign in with Google, GitHub, or email.

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http paywallscreens https://www.paywallscreens.com/mcp

Then run /mcp in Claude Code, select paywallscreens, and choose Authenticate.

Claude Desktop and claude.ai

Open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, name it Paywallscreens, and paste the server URL above.

Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, and other clients

Add the server to your client’s MCP configuration (for Cursor, ~/.cursor/mcp.json):

Clients that default to the legacy SSE transport need "type": "streamableHttp" (Cline) next to the URL. VS Code uses a servers key with "type": "http".

Search thousands of real iOS app paywall screenshots collected from the App Store, with estimated monthly revenue and downloads for each app. Returns the latest paywall for each matching app as an inline preview image plus a full-resolution image_url. Use it for paywall design inspiration, competitive research, and pricing-page patterns. The query matches app names, developers, and App Store descriptions (for example "meditation", "photo editor", "Duolingo", "AI chat").
get_app_paywalls
Get every paywall screenshot collected for one app, newest first, so you can see how its paywall changed over time, along with its App Store details and revenue and download estimates. Identify the app by name, App Store ID, or Paywallscreens slug.
list_categories
List App Store categories with the number of apps that have paywall screenshots in each.

Limits and privacy

Each account can make 60 tool calls per minute. Paywallscreens is run by Superwall: we store your account details and the requests your client makes, including search text, to operate the service. See the privacy policy.
